December 2012 Birchbox All wrapped up

This was a pretty amazing Box this month! I loved all the neat and usable items in this box.

The extra this month was a refillable fragrance atomizer

$17 dollars in the BirchBox shop. This refillable fragrance atomizer has a screw on bottom in which you take a scent of your choosing and spray it into the container until it is full with your scent. Then you screw the cap pack on and wallah portable atomizer. It is a really sturdy design and is easy to rinse out and clean to refill with a different scent if desired since it has a large opening in the bottom.

the full size is $22 in the BirchBox shop. I love this color, it is a beautiful warm tone and make you appear sun kissed in just the right place. This peachy shimmer color is my new favorite product.

Juice Beauty CC Cream 

The color I got was in Warm Glow. Full size is $39 in the BirchBox Shop. For me it is a good base before my foundation. I need a lot more coverage.

KLORANE dry shampoo

Full size is $22 in the BirchBox shop. This was an Allure beauty award winning product. It is made with pure botanicals which is a better way than some other dry shampoos. This is a powerful dry shampoo (the sprayer is really strong) and no flakiness or residue left over.

December Ipsy

I loved this bag and every bag over the past couple months! Ipsy has been nothing, but amazing beauty items which is why I subscribed to them 1 year ago when it was MyGlam. MAI COUTURE highlighting papier

This is a almost tissue like paper with pigment right on it. You can tear it out and rub it onto your upper cheekbones, cupids bow or anywhere you would like to have highlighted or glowing. The color was great and pale and shimmery. I have tries MAI COUTURE blotting papiers and the foundation papiers in the past as well

Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil in ZERO

The perfect deep dark black eyeliner. Makes my eyes stand out and very bold.

NYX ultra pearl mania pigment in

The pigment is right on and bold as expected, It looks like a dark green color, but comes off brown when applied. My only gripe about it is it not being easy to use because of the packaging. It is not user friendly. The opening is very tiny and seems like a lot of waste if you need to pour it out to use it. it would be much better if the opening was bigger where you could tap the end of your brush in the pigment without having to be super creative on not spilling it. 

Mirabella Face and Eye Primer

The consistency is a bit runny and oily from what I am use to. Works like it should. Always use a primer before foundation and eye makeup. It's a must for an all day makeup application.

Be a Bombshell lip gloss in HOT MESS

A super bright and very glossy. Not too sticky which it always a plus.

Lastly my bag extra which is the NEW Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm.

It has a medicinal/ minty smell to it. I had high hopes for this, but it does not have good coverage, but I should have expected that from the Beauty Balm. I can say it did even out my skin tone and had a really beautiful satiny finish, but did not hide any of my flaws. I began using this under my foundation. If the Naked Skin foundation is anything like this with full coverage I think it would be a great product for me. I have lots of hyper pigmentation all over my face and need quite a bit of coverage just to make my face appear even. 

This was a great beauty bag!

Torani Syrups Review

I received the Torani Hazelnut and Pumpkin Pie Flavors. 

This is a sugar free flavored syrup (sweetened with Splenda) that can be used not only for coffee, but I think on Vanilla Ice Cream is yummy! Get a plain Ice Cram and make is special adding these syrups. I actually like the stir my ice cream till it is like a soft serve consistency and then eat it. This just makes it that much easier to mix. Oh and must I tell you delicious!

My Hubby definitly loved the Pumpkin pie with his coffee. Having the pumpkin flavor in warm coffee is Holiday in advance and well everyday.  My son like both of them he says it flavors his hot chocolate just fine. He likes the Hazelnut better. iS Cosmeceuticals Instant Smoothing Gel Review and Giveaway

The consistency is a little thicker than water with a very slight almost oils-like texture. There is no scent which I like.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. The following pictures have a side by side comparison. I see some results and I am pleased with what I see. I can imagine what my skin will look like after a few more weeks of using the iS Instant smoothing gel. I noticed that my fine lines are a bit less especially under my eyes. I have been enjoying using the IS Instant smoothing gel. The pump dispenses just enough and you could get away with a half of a pump.

Covergirl blastflipstick

This is a review and a look at the Covergirl BlastFlipstick. This was sent from Bzzagent to review.

My 1st thoughts before applying was mixed. I thought the packaging was very cute, but the colors were way out of my comfort zone. I was definitely going to give them a chance and try them all no matter how intimidating they seemed to me and surprisingly the darkest shade which I thought would look completely ridiculous was the one I thought looked the best.

Stunner

A bright vivid coal pink with a glitter golden color.

The glitter mage the lipstick gritty and seemed to feel drying.

Upon removing there was still glitter residue on my lips.

Vixen

Pink with a lighter shimmery pink. Very smooth in texture. 

Felt very good on the lips. 

You can also see here in the photo that there is a lot of product in the package. 

Minx

I was nervous to try, but was pleasantly surprised. This is a dark brown and very shimmery gold. 

It too was very soft and smooth on the lips and felt moisturizing.

This one seemed to make my teeth appear whiter than they normally are. I very much liked that. 

I was very surprised I liked this one the most. I think it would be great for a night out. 

Over all my thoughts were all of the colors are very bright and pigmented. They all applied smooth and silky except fro the one with the glitter in it (stunner). They do tend to stain your lips. That could be a good or bad thing depending on what you want. Tp have lingering color when applying it in the morning as long as it is the color you want would be a good thing. Then your lips would always have a flush of color even after the lip color wore out. 

The thing that most bothered me was the shape of the lipstick. It was difficult to maintain a straight line on my lips. I had to turn it to line my lips for an easier application. The flat shape was not easy to work with.

Perdue Oven Ready Roaster

Ok I just made my whole roaster tonight. My family of 5 loved it! I still have left overs for tomorrow too! It came out brown on the top and juicy on the inside. The seasonings were delicious. My neighbor came over and she tried it and loved it too. She called me about an hour later and wanted to know more about the chicken. I told her and oh yes I gave her a coupon so she could know what to buy and save some money too.
Here is our yummy meal.

Into the oven it goes all sealed up in the inner bag with a few cuts as directed to let some steam escape. 

After removing the chicken from the oven I poured the juices into the pan and added the veggies to cook for about 15 min. The chicken was still very hot after sitting out of the oven covered with aluminum foil and a towel to keep the heat in. 

With some mushroom flavored wild rice and veggies cooked in the juices from the bag

I added the juices from the pan to pour over my chicken. It had really great flavor. I was so glad to try this and I will definitely be purchasing this again in the very near future.
