This has a gel like consistency and I really enjoy the cooling effect. The consistency is really unique and I suppose it is from the ingredient aloe and all the plant based ingredients. If you apply too much it can leave a sticky feeling, but just use a light hand, especially for the morning. At night it doesn't make that much of a difference. I do not have extremely puffy under eyes, but on the mornings I do, this is the under eye treatment I choose to use. As I said the cooling effect to me is a help with my puffiness on those hard mornings. Though the package may seem small, a tiny bit goes a really long way. You can also use this all over your face, but I prefer to use it only under my eyes.
