Coconut oil and its many uses

So lately I see a lot of mentions of coconut oil use.

• use it to take off makeup
• use it to moisturize
• use it to condition the ends of your hair
• use it for cooking
• use it for ...

WOW it seems like an everything kind of product.

I received the Paradise Coconut oil and when I look at the container I thought hmmm, beauty product. 

I decided let give it a go. Lets try it out!

1st use: COOKING

This seemed like a simple one, although the container looks like it should be a beauty item, I did it. Besides it does say in the package "Heavenly creamy taste" It is solid when you take it out if the container, but melts almost instantly.

I made some ribs that I cooked in a pot and there was no noticeable flavor change and was a plus. I was thinking an added sweet flavor, but there is not smell or flavor noticed. 

Coconut oil is known to help increase you energy burning and help with weight loss :) 

AND there is more!

It is a healthy fat and can help reduce your cholesterol and help reduce heart disease. 

Next, beauty product: scrub

I used it with some brown sugar and vanilla and a few other ingredients. It helps hold the ingredients together and when scrubbed on my skin was very moisturizing. I am planning on making a lip scrub next.

lastly using it to remove my makeup and moisturize my face. This one just seems weird still for me. It works amazingly though I have to say. I transferred a small amount to another container since I an using it for cooking as well and did not want to share my face/beauty product out of the same container. 

Coconut oil contains Lauric Acid and that kills bacteria, fungi and viruses, so I guess this is great to keep those blemishes in check too! Go AWAY INFECTIONS!
