Starlooks Looksbook in UTOPIA

Here is this months Starlooks looks book.
This month is in UTOPIA

Each month you will get a Looksbook which has 3 perfect sized products.

This month there is

Ideal - peachy nude/neutral lipgloss. This gloss is creamy and not sticky at all. It has just the right amount of color.

Concrete - a cream colored liner or all over eye primer. I used this as an eye primer. It glides on smoothly and is very creamy in consistency.

Abstract - a peach colored stick cheek color. This is long lasting, but be sure to work fast to blend it out before it sets in place. Work one cheek at a time.

I also liked to mix this with the gloss to get a beautiful lip shade!

If you are interested in getting the Starlooks Looksbook for yourself, it is $12 per month. Starlooks Monthly

Beauty Box 5 Oct 2013

Moving into November I was able to use all of the products and give my final thought on it.

LaFresh Facial Cleansing wipes 8 ct - approx $3.33 - are a nice addition. I love almost every facial wipe I have tried. (Almost) These are no exception. Very nice, the only thing I can say is that I wish they were a bit thicker.

Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion - approx 0.87 cents - Aveeno is one of my favorite lotion brands. I love it and it had a thicker consistence, but at the same time does not linger on my skin. It keeps my hands hydrated and am glad to have an extra to keep in my bag.

Nubar nail polish in "Blondie" - $8 - This cute glitter polish is a nice added umph to my standard nail routine. It applies lightly and not overbearing.

ModelCo Lip&Cheek stain in "Rosy Red" 5ml - approx $12 - Well I have yet to try it on my lip and only because my lips and finger tips get a decent stain with this and I am afraid I will have a heavy hand and not blend quick enough on my face and have a nice red dot on my cheek. As for my lip I love the saying power and the scent is pleasing and yummy. you can see it is quite dark but it can be sheered out.

SwissCo Glitter Toe separators - $2 -  I have yet to use. I do not normally use toe separators when doing my nails. I just do not feel the need to use them They are quite girly and love the pink sparkle. After all what girl doesn't love pink and sparkles?! They are hypnotic to look at :)

Overall the box is quite nice and $10 is a decent price to pay.
Value of this October box is approx $26

TIP: If you subscribe for 3months at a time you will pay $10/month ($30) otherwise it will cost $12/month to do it on a month by month basis.

My November box is on it's way so be on the look out for that.

Birchbox Oct 2013

The Dr. Brandt microdernabrasion skin exfoliant was Ahhhmazing. A little bit goes a long way. If you are like me and want to feel the the product scrubbing your skin then you will love it.
I have to admit the scent reminded me on lemon scented pledge, but I really enjoyed the feeling. It feels like thousands of mico beads or super fine sand being scrubbed all over your face. If you have very sensitive skin then just be careful not to scrub too hard. Personally I really appreciate that I can feel it exfoliating my face. It did an excellent job and my face felt so incredibly soft after using it.

The pop aqua laquer in "Flowering Fuchsia" Initially I was unsure if I would like it since my initial swatch on my hand was unappealing. It has an odd shaped wand. It is a plastic applicator and doesn't go on smoothly. The idea of having a wand in a squeeze tube is excellent, but just with the applicator was different. The texture was surprisingly not sticky since it appeared that it would be very sticky. I was happy with the consistence and the color is just a sheer color. The price is $14. This item alone covers the cost of the box.

Chap Stick hydration lock. I have yet to use it, but I love chapstick in general so I am sure will be happy with it. Cost approx $2.99 (this was the extra in the box this month)

Supergoop! City Sunscreen. The product is good, and it does it's job. A full size is $42. I don't think I will purchase a full size since I think there are many other brands that do the same thing for much less. While the full (purse) size has a nifty package and will not explode in your bag, it is not worth $42 when I can get a travel size for nearly nothing at the drug store.

Lastly is a sample of Atelier Cologne "Orange SanguineColone Absolue. The scent is light, fresh, citrus-like and summery. It is a pleasant scent, but everyone has their own likes and this one is nice, but not a preferred scent. I appreciate trying new scents. It also came with a postcard to use in the future.

Overall I the cost of Birchbox is $10 per month. The approx value is over $20 and if you are interested in signing up I wouls appreciate signing up with my link HERE
Thank you for checking out my blog, until the next post.

IPSY June bag

 NYX Blush in "Sand" $5
This is a very shimmery golden color. I have been using it as a highlight. There is not much color that comes off, but has a great glow to it.
 J. Cat Sparkling Cream Palette $4.49
When you first look at it you may think it is for your eyes, but this is a body and face glitter palette. It is not recommended for the eyes.  I personally did not use this and I think it can go to someone else who would be happier and put this palette to good use.

Starlooks lip pencil in "bare" $12
This pencil glides on very easily. The color is a very natural lip color, but does need to be re-applied thru ought the day.

Chella Highlighting Pencil in Ivory Lace $18
This pencil os beautiful and glides on so smoothly. I have been using this daily and wish I would have known about this before.
Jcat Eyelashes in "EL47" $3.99
I am not an eyelash wearer, but I definitely want to be. These lashes just look perfect. Since I am not a pro at application I want to save this for a special occasion which is when I usually wear falsies :)
These just look just dramatic enough, but not so fake to where someone looks and says "eww too much"

Overall the June Ipsy bag is just as wonderful as many others. I would definitely recommend if you are looking in to joining a Beauty Subscription then I would suggest Ipsy. To join click HERE. The bag is only $10 per month.
This month the total value amount of the bag was OVER $43.00
I say a FANTASTIC VALUE!
Good luck and I hope you enjoy you day/night

Ipsy May edition plus the Special UD Moondust (bag worth over $70)

This is the best bag so far this year from IPSY! 5 AMAZING products including a special extra from Urban Decay.
This bag is worth over $70

The first thing pulled out of my package was the Urban Decay Moondust in ZODIAC. You can see it is a glittery emerald green.
1.5gm $20

Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in Pink
This has the perfect consistency very soft, smooth and not sticky. The color seems dark, but is just enough color to make me happy without thinking I am in the winter season again.   I am loving this gloss.
One size $15

Zoya polish in BLU
This is a very light spring-like color that is almost a mix between a light blue and lavender. Zoya is a brand that I enjoy using. It lasts longer than drugstore polishes.
$8

Yaby concealer Flawless refill
This is a light covering concealer. This will be used up quickly since it is so small. This will be a nice addition to my Rx Palette that we got a little while ago from Ipsy
$5.06

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
I have been a long time user of this Healing oil treatment. It is perfect to use right after the shower. It leaves my hair healthy and shiny. It is easier to comb thru and keep my hair from sticking out like I got struck by lightning.
1oz $13.50

Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume /roll-on
This scent is so delicious smelling. Vanilla so true and you just want to apply it and leave your wrist at your nose. Sweet and yummy.
0.33oz $12

Bag worth $73.50
Excellent for a $10 monthly subscription.

March Ipsy Bag

The Glam Rx Mini Freestyle Palette is pretty great. I think the size is fantastic and the magnetic closure is pretty strong and I don't think it will fail me anytime soon. I like that I can add whatever I want to it and I do not have to have a palette that is pre-made. The GlamRx from the site comes with a top layer that has a concealer, lip product and black eye liner for $16.50.

The next two items are eyeshadows from Yaby. The darker one is in Azealea petal and the lighter on is in seashell. The color payoff is pretty beautiful. The azealea petal is a lot darker than in the photo and I have been using it as the deeper shade in my crease. The only gripe I have is that they are really tiny. The good thing is that you can purchase yaby eyeshadow refills for about $3.29 each which is amazing. choose the colors you want for your GlamRx Palette.

juice Beauty Hydrating mist is something I am really loving. Normally Juice Beauty products have a very medicinal smell to them in my opinion. This for a change does not. It is refreshing but reminds me of Summer or the beach since it has a similar smell to skin so soft. Be very careful with the spray since it is pretty strong. It should be a misting spray, but it is a spray for sure! Hold it a good distance from you face. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Full size 6.75ml $22

La Fresh Travel Lite makeup Removing wipes. I did not open this yet since I have a large bag of another brand open at the moment, but as soon as they are done I plan on using these next. I have tried LaFresh in the past and have very much enjoyed their products. The nail polish removing pads are so so so good! One pad takes of almost all the polish for about all my nails. Two will do all my fingers and toes. That's impressive. I have high hopes for the wipes. These are a great deal at $1.49 for 8 wipes. Perfect for vacation one for every night with extras left.
