These sparkly salt crystals are  much more that I could have wanted in an exfoliating product.
I have used many other microdermabrasion at home treatments and I like them, but still compared them to regular face scrubs. I have never used a Salt scrub  on my face before now.
I was worried and excited at the same time. I was worried my eyes were going to get salt in my eye and we all know what that feels like. Thankfully as many times as I have used it, that has never happened. I just take my wet fingertips and touch the top of the product in the container and start to scrub. I use the same method for each side of my face. If you are like me and love and extremely abrasive facial scrub then this will be the most abrasive scrub/microdermabrasion you will find. There is no lotion or cream and is strictly a dry salt scrub. As with sugar scrubs this will not melt away in a couple of seconds with the warm water like those do. This will let you scrub to your hearts desire. I usually use a scrub mostly every night, but with this it is definitely a once a week use. This is exactly what I thought a microdermabrasion should feel like. I think I scrubbed till I was scrubbed out. Also if you have any open blemishes be prepared for a little burning.

While it is recommended for oily skin you can still use this at home microdermabrasion for dry skin too by adding olive oil to it or even another moisturizer or cleanser to get a clean scrub.
Overall I love this and it is extremely effective!
