Wind spin magic hair curler diffuser review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Are you wondering what this is?
This is described as a Wave hair styler. It is to be used with a hair dryer (not included).
This device is suppose to give you curls or waves with the use of the curl diffuser and a blow dryer.

This is what comes in the box.
  1. Instructions
  2. curler diffuser (purple)
  3. adaptor for your blow dryer (pink) if it is not round at the end.

Before using it you must turn the chamber to the left or right (as seen above) or it will not spin your hair in the curler diffuser.

Hair must be about 90% dry. Then attach it to your blow dryer inset a large or small amount of hair depending on the size of curl you want to achieve. I attempted to use a large amount oh hair, but it would not spin in the diffuser.
When your hair is dry, take curled hair and curl it up with fingers and hold up till cool. This is suppose to hold your curl. I tried this technique a few times and I had the same result. See below:

The top two photos are right after using the Wind Spin magic hair curler diffuser and the bottom pictures are after separating the curls/twists.
It definitely does not curl my hair. It just left my hair messy looking without any real style. It does not look like the stock photo.

I was told if you have straight hair it would not work as well than if you have wavy hair.

Piczzle review and giveaway!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

This is such a cute item to gift to a grandmother, grandfather or any family member. Personally my plan is to frame it and hang it on the wall. I love puzzles and this just makes it even more special to do. Choose your favorite picture of anything you love. I think my daughter would have loved to see a picture of her and her favorite Disney princess in a puzzle and hung up on her wall. There are endless possibilities with the Piczzle Photo Puzzle

The picture on the box as with any puzzle you are assembling is a great help. There are many options to choose from: rectangles, circles, heart shaped, wooden, cardboard, it can be very basic with as little as 6 pieces for your little one or up to 2000 pieces for you who love a challenge.

The Piczzle I chose was an 8.5x11 48 piece Piczzle

It came with all the pieces secured in a zip top bag

I had fun putting the pieces together and I really didn't need to photo on the box since I already know the image, but it is great for someone else to use as a guide for them. My kids assembled it and were so excited to see their faces on an actual puzzle! Seems like this would be an even better surprise for them.
The way the pieces and picture fit together were seamless. I have had puzzles with images on them before and there were gaps in the picture once assembles and thought it was a good idea, but not so great to frame up. The Piczzle on the other hand as you can see is seamless. Great quality image on the puzzle pieces itself.

You can also personalize it with a phrase of your choice. I love the picture puzzle. Prices vary depending on the size you choose starting at $14.95.

CollageIt for Mac review. Finally a program for my Mac to use to edit and make a collage

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

CollageIt
I usually had to go to my Instagram app on my Iphone if I wanted to do a collage of any photos. I did not have a program to do it on my Mac. I am very pleased to have something that can make simple and complex collages now. It is very simple to use and only takes a fe minutes to make a simple collage. No longer do I have to email myself pics, change it on a phone app and email it back to use it on my Mac.

This is an example of a collage I would do on my Iphone then send to myself in an email to use in my blog or video.
Here are a few screen shots:

Multiple collages to choose from

Easily crop your photo to how you want. You can have text in it as well if you choose to.

Choose a little or as much as you want to upload and use for your collage

Easily share to Facebook, Iphoto or send an email of your collage.

FINAL PICTURE
I would normally have to upload or edit my pictures to my iphone to complete a collage, but now I no longer have to do this. I would also have to do this for my videos to make a thumbnail and this is a great benefit and time saver. If you are one who like to make collages and edit photos then I think you would really appreciate the ease and use of CollageIt

Les Cinq Amandes review Amazing specialized favors

 Les Cinq Amandes

About the company:
The Five Almonds- Les Cinq Amandes is a place where artistry meets confectionary.
We curate the finest candies from around the world, in an array of colors and flavors, including the Grand Cru Avola Almond, to create unique gift presentations. We also offer an interactive on line store, where customers can create their own custom gifts.
Les Cinq Amandes, founded in CT by a mother daughter duo in 2007, has hundreds of sweet renditions that are unique, each telling a story, invitation to a special journey tied to the universal wishes of Health, Happiness, Long Life, Peace, and Love: a real feast to the five senses!

It is hard to believe that this company that is less than 10 years old has such beautiful, delicate, delicious confections that are just plainly stated as show stopping. I felt the need to use many adjectives in this description since I was so blown away with these and I could think of many more ways to describe these amazing confectionary treats.

The packaging alone is elegant and I barely wanted to open anything. I normally never eat these sweet treats at any event. They normally are pretty, but taste well not so great.

First treat were Chocolate Dragées. These ombre blue almond shaped, candy coated dark chocolates have a beautifully perfect almond shape and firm candy coating. When you bite in to these little gems, believe it or not you actually want more. The dark chocolate was delicious and my Fiance gobbled them all up by the hand full. I think I was able to try two or three of them.

Next were the Renaissance favors. The packaging is simple yet complex at the same time. There is an inner clear box with a message about the 5almonds and their meaning.
This was my favorite array of treats and are fantastic to mix a few of your favorites. There were Chocolate Dragées, Almond Dragées, Magical Meringues and Petite Pistachios. The Petite Pistachios are candy coated little pearls with a nice crunch. My favorite were the odd shaped Magical Meringues. They were a beautiful peach color with a delicate coating of white chocolate and amazing meringue. I did not want to share even one little piece.

Last are the Fleur De Sel Caramel. Beautifully wrapped in cellophane and alone are amazing for anyone to have. Sweet with a salty hint in the background. Delightful.

Overall I would recommend them not only for the effortless and amazing look that each and every piece has, but for the delicious flavors. It is not often I come across these confections that are made to be a special favor to guests at a special event to be tasty. Your guest will not keep them as a keepsake since I think once they try one they will consume to whole thing.
Here are a few pics from the brochure sent. How amazing are these confections. Here are a few ways they can personalize each and every piece. There are so many different treats to choose from.

For more information about the other types of treats that are available go to http://www.the5almonds.com/ to personalize your favors for your next even or just to have on hand as a special treat.
I  also have a 10% discount code for you.

NEW Cynthia Rowley Palette RAVE REVIEW

I purchased this palette thru BirchBox with my Birchbox points.
Cynthia Rowley Birchbox Exclusive Palette is $24
The cover is beautiful with an abstract floral design.

The colors are an amazing warm, pink toned palette.

The dark Brown is a solid chocolate brown and a little soft, but amazing pigment. excellent to darken up your outer corner or use as a liner as well.

Next is a warm almost rose toned golden brown shade. This is great to deepen the crease color.

Next is a a shade lighter than the above shade. It is a perfect blending color or an all over lid color. rosy brown.

Next is a multi color shade that results in a beautiful burgundy rose color. This happens to be my absolute favorite shade in the whole palette. A little can go a VERY long way, but don't worry if you happen to have a heavy hand since it is easy to blend out. A little smidge of this color on your brush is all you need, but you can make it very bold too.

Last is the a golden shimmer, the lightest shade. It has the least amount of boldness compared to the rest, but excellent as an inner corner highlight or an all over lid color.

These colors are so easy to apply and blend out. You will never get bored of using this palette. It has been my everyday palette since I got it.
Here are a couple screenshots from some recent video uploads.
