Purex Fabric Softener Sheets review and giveaway

Purex Fabric Softener Sheets has a new and improved formula with 3x the fragrance. It comes in two scents, mountain breeze and sweet lavender. I received the mountain breeze and loved it. The scent is definitely refreshing and makes my home smell so fresh, which is sometime hard to do with 2 growing boys one pre-teen and one teenager. If you do not know they are not the cleanest of children. 

Besides the normal place fabric sheet in dryer for static free and additional softness to you laundry, they can also be used to freshen areas around your home. Place them in a drawer or put into a pillow case on your sofa or bed.

I personally like to keep a dryer sheet near my baby girl in the summer time as it seems to deter those pesky mosquitoes from biting her. I keep it in a pocket or when in the cars attached to her car seat in a couple places which also keeps my car smelling so clean even after my sometimes smelly kiddos leave unwanted "treats and surprises" for me in the car.  

Don't toss out your used fabric softener sheets. Here are some other pretty amazing uses for your used fabric softener sheets.

1. If your hair is saluting everyone and need to keep it as ease, just wipe down with a used sheet.
2. Wipe off TV screens, monitors and even surfaces with a used dryer sheet to remove dust easily and help repel the dust from coming back so soon.
3.  Got smelly teenage sneakers stuff them with some used sheets to freshen them up.
4. Dull scissors, yup rub the blades and should remedy the problem.
5. This is another favorite of mine, wipe down faucet fixture for a new shiny appearance.
6. This last one is essential since we have a dog and my daughter is always laying on the floor with him. Take a used fabric softener sheet and rub on clothing to remove pet hair. Ahh what a relief! instead of changing her all the time. 

There are many more things to do with your Purex Fabric Softener Sheets. I really enjoyed using mine for the many other uses besides to usual manner. We have to think outside of the box and recycle and reuse.

July 2013 BirchBox Disappointing

I did not know what was going to be in the box, but I heard there were going to be multiple versions coming out this month. Since I heard that information I though "oh wow! something exciting is going to happen". Would you like to see?

INSTAIN (Swiss Dot)from The Balm

This is the product I am happy to get in my box. The Balm is one of my favorite brands of makeup. Their products have never disappointed me. This color is just the right tone and can be used on your lips, cheeks or even eyes if you desire. 

This is a long wearing cheek stain in a powder formula.

CALADREA aromatherapeutic Body lotion sample packs.

The lotion is pretty amazing. The feel is soft and silky and lasts a long time. The scent is luxurious and rich. It just reminds me of an expensive perfume. It is quite lovely and would definitely consider purchasing a full size of this lotion. Loved it.

Looking Good Naked Tan Towel.  I have yet to try this, but am hoping for it not to be streaky. I will put an additional update after application.

Target Beauty Box $5

This was a surprise and boy what a great value. Rumors were spreading there was going to be a Target Beauty box. When it finally came out, it was $5. Well that seemed like a bargain so I decided to purchase one. They were for sale from their FB page. When I finally received it I was thoroughly IMPRESSED! Here are the Items below.

IPSY June bag

 NYX Blush in "Sand" $5

This is a very shimmery golden color. I have been using it as a highlight. There is not much color that comes off, but has a great glow to it.

 J. Cat Sparkling Cream Palette $4.49

When you first look at it you may think it is for your eyes, but this is a body and face glitter palette. It is not recommended for the eyes.  I personally did not use this and I think it can go to someone else who would be happier and put this palette to good use. 

 Starlooks lip pencil in "bare" $12

This pencil glides on very easily. The color is a very natural lip color, but does need to be re-applied thru ought the day.

 Chella Highlighting Pencil in Ivory Lace $18

This pencil os beautiful and glides on so smoothly. I have been using this daily and wish I would have known about this before. 

Jcat Eyelashes in "EL47" $3.99

I am not an eyelash wearer, but I definitely want to be. These lashes just look perfect. Since I am not a pro at application I want to save this for a special occasion which is when I usually wear falsies :)

These just look just dramatic enough, but not so fake to where someone looks and says "eww too much"
