When it is available they will try to get it to you. You obviously will not be guaranteed to get it, but they at least know you want it. I just received my 1st product from Swaggable. It came with 2 packs of the Organic green tea blend from NUMI Organic Tea. A bonus is the great coupon on the back for $1.50 off any NUMI tea.

So funny the other day I was saying I felt so run down and whalla an energizing Green tea appears. This tea was discussed on Dr.Oz for one of the best teas for weight loss is PU ERH tea (will shrink fat cells) it is a fermented tea. This is NUMI's version that I get to try.

This is my 1st Product Review for Swaggable. I notice that their items are very different from other sites. It is refreshing to learn and try new things I have never heard of. 
I thought this tea was really good. Usually you must (we I must) add sweetener/sugar to my hot tea cause it is usually too bitter. This tea you can drink it without sweetener/sugar it is very mellow and smooth. I am sot going to say it tastes like it has sugar, but it is just not bitter. The mint flavor was not too minty it was perfect.

Next is the perfume sample from Taylor Swift in WONDERSTRUCK. This scent is very a very sweet and fruity scent. I think it reminds me of a youthful scent. I like it and for some reason it brings back some sort of happy feelings. I still cannot pinpoint what happy time in my life it was, but it is from my younger days when living at home with my parents. 


The next item is a lip balm from alima pure nourishing lipbalm (0.07oz) $7. (full size in box) This has a nice pale pink very slight shimmer. When applied it has a tinge of a tingle to your lips and is so creamy and smooth. It has a strange smell, but it doesn't linger. Very NICE! I actually have been carrying it at work in my scrubs so I can reapply it frequently when I need it. 

Next item on the list: from Jurlique a moisture replenishing day cream 0.5oz. A full size 50ml of is $40. The name does throw me off a bit (replenishing day cream) makes me think you should re-apply throughout the day, but no, not the case. This moisturizer is not thick, but has a strange consistency when you use it. It tends to say slick or greasy and I think it would be better to use in the winter or at night. There is a strong almost floral scent with this which kind of makes me not want to use it too much. It kind of reminds me of some kind of cream my mom use while growing up. A body lotion or something I cannot pin point it. It has been a while since applying it and my fingers are still slick from using them to apply to my face. It is a bit bothersome. Maybe it will be good for your elbows...

This is a fantastic product. For some reason anything that comes in these little tins tend to be amazing to use. Sample sent was a 0.25oz tin. A full size 2.1oz is $7.99 This is great to rub n your hands, cuticles, elbows anywhere you feel extra dry. This salve it definitely a multi-use item. The scent is nice and fresh. I love this one! LOTS and LOTS!


Last is the dropps laundry detergent. Sample scent was 2 drops approx $3.33. Full size is 20 dropps for $6. Not a bad price at all. The scent is so nice. it is fresh and I like a lot. I have not used it yet, cause I want to take this with me in vacation since it is in a nice convenient package. That way I do not need to purchase detergent when I get there. Save me some space and money!!

The first thing I did was untwist the cap and smell it. The scent is refreshing and I wanted to use it right away. So I have been using the palmolive fresh sponge dishwashing liquid for more than a week and you can see how much has been used below. So depending on who does the dishes makes a difference on if the sponge ends up smelling bad or not only because when my hubby does the dishes he never rinsed the food off the sponge and it does end up smelling, but even after I do the dishes after him with the smelly sponge when I rinse it well after the smell has gone away. So far it is great! Still testing and smelling LOL.

 The 1st item in the box and in my opinion the best item in the box was from Makeupgeek.com it is an eyeshadow refill in Mango Tango. This is really a great color. This is a color that is being brought out all over the place for this spring. In person the color is vibrant and orange/tangerine/coral like in color. In the picture it comes off a bit more pink. The cost for this refill is $5.99 on the makeupgeek website.

My thoughts on this month's box is that is was nothing too impressive. I do understand the purpose of these boxes are to introduce buyer like me to new products that we may not purchase on our own. Or something we may have never heard of. I am glad I have learned of many new things from these subscription boxes. The only thing is that this box is $12 vs the typical $10 so I would expect better things in the box compared to others. Last month I really liked the box. There were a few full sized products that I am still using and will be continuing to use for some time after this post. This month I will be out of the majority of the items after a single use. For that reason alone is why I am not pleased with the box. I hope next month it will make up for this month. We will see what happens, until then Chow chow for now!!

MyGlam April2012

Here is my April 2012 My Glam bag!!! 

UPDATE!!!!! So sorry, The perfume was not with the Bag. That was actually part of my Birchbox and got it mixed in with MyGlam Bag.

I am very pleased with my bag. I know many others were not so happy, but imaging this bag is only $10. It comes with 2 brushes, a medium sized eyeliner from Urban Decay, a set of false eyelashes, a lip quench from the Dermstore and lastly the makeup bag. 

Theme is GIRLS NIGHT OUT

             I received 2 more eye shadow brushes, an allover eye shadow brush and an eyeliner brush. I do love the eyeliner brush. I always go for a shadow liner on my lower lash line vs an eye liner pencil. I just think it is less harsh when it is applied that way.   It really has a great edge on it and I know I will have great use for it. And besides that it fits in my nice case that I got last month for travel. No more squishing my brushes in a bag and messing up my bristles. Now they can stay like they should.                                          

Next is the Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner in Woodstock. It is blendable for about 30 seconds then stays on all day. Now the color I received is a bit scary to me. I need to figure out how to use this without looking like I have pink-eye. I am looking up some tips and hope to find something that is wearable. Otherwise I think I may try it as a lip liner and blend it with a neutral color to mellow it out a bit. If you have any tips let me know.


This next one from the DERMSTORE is a lip Quench. The first thing I noticed was the sweet scent of strawberries and immediately I wanted to apply it to my lips. I removed what I was wearing already and applied right away. This really is so soft feeling and the smell again was so yummy. It has just a tinge of pink, but the color does not show when applied. I think this is worth it! The cost of this is $12 on the DERMSTORE website. If you purchase $30 or more on their site you can get $15 off with the code APRIL15.

Lastly is these false eyelashes from All-Belle. The style I think is Red Wedding. They are a natural looking lash. I have yet to try them, but want to try in the near future. I do not wear false lashes on a daily basis like many people do, but it is great to have for the time you want a little pop for your eyes.

Quaker Oatmeal Squares from BzzAgent

I was sent the Quaker Oatmeal Squares from BzzAgent to try and give my opinion and my thoughts.

When I opened my box I thought healthy... uh oh.... here we go, I hope this is good. It definitely looks very healthy and usually healthy things are not the yummiest things to eat.
I was pleasantly surprised by #1 the taste and #2 the texture. I really was not expecting something that gives you 96% of your minimal daily whole grains would taste very good. I am very happy to say I was wrong. When I opened the box and took the 1st bite I was saying mmmmm. Tasty and great consistency. Perfect amount of crunch without tearing up the roof of your mouth. I am a big texture person when it comes to food. The brown sugar flavor is the perfect amount and it is not covered all in sugar so you can eat it straight from the box like I did initially and not have messy fingers for a quick snack. to satisfy a sweet fix.
When you eat it with milk the Oatmeal Squares do not melt away and become a mushy mess either. They stay nice and crunchy!! That makes my picky mouth happy too. No one likes for your cereal to turn in to baby food. My kids really liked it too. The cover of the box is decieving I had to tell them just take a bite! I promise you will like it!! They did.
It is available in most grocery stores. There are 3 different flavors to try, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon and Golden Apple. There a serving sizes will give you 5gm of dietary fiber and 6gm of protein.
